Create and organize Knowledge Base pages

The Knowledge Base is your internal wiki — Notion-style nested pages with rich-text editing, searchable across the whole app.

Who can write

Every workspace role except Limited can create articles and edit unlocked pages, so documentation grows from the whole team rather than one admin.

The finer-grained rules:

• Create and edit — admins and managers always; everyone else except Limited members, on any page that is not locked (or on their own locked page).

• Delete — the page's author, or an admin or manager. Not every contributor.

• Lock and unlock — the page's author, or an admin or manager.

• Reorder pages — admins and managers only.

Creating a page

Click New Article — on the list page header, the empty state, or in the sidebar. Give it a title (the placeholder is "Untitled") and start writing. Assign a Category to group it, for example "Workflows"; uncategorised pages land under Other.

The editor

The editor works in clean markdown under the hood, but you write in a rich editor:

• Press / for blocks.

• Add images inline.

• Callouts and formatting survive editing intact.

Prefer raw markdown? The Edit markdown source button switches any article into a source view where you type markdown directly.

Nesting and navigation

Pages nest into trees. An article shows its Subpages, an On this page outline, and Previous / Next links so a long guide reads in order.

Publishing state

Each article has a Published toggle; unpublished ones carry a Draft badge. Combine that with visibility (see Wiki-links, visibility and link health) to keep in-progress writing to yourself.

Finding pages

Search from the Knowledge Base page itself, or press ⌘K anywhere in the app and filter to Docs. The AI assistant can also search inside article content, not just titles — ask it a how-to question and it will look things up before answering.

Deleting

Delete asks for confirmation and warns that the action cannot be undone.
