Find your way around
The sidebar, the command palette, the assistant and where to get help.

The app opens on your Home dashboard β a greeting, quick actions, today's schedule, your tasks and your goals. Home is pinned to the top of the rail so you can always get back.
The sidebar
Navigation is a left rail of domains, each opening a second pane of pages. Out of the box the rail holds Home, Assistant, Projects, Tasks, Planner, Timesheet, Pipeline and Knowledge Base, with Settings and What's new at the bottom. Finance, Goals and Community start in the More overflow menu.
Contacts is not its own rail item β it lives inside Pipeline, alongside Sales, Hiring and Meetings.
The rail collapses to a slim strip of icons and expands to a labelled sidebar on demand β use Collapse sidebar and Expand sidebar.
Make it yours
Open Customize sidebar to decide where each section lives: "Choose whether each section lives on the rail, in the More menu, or is hidden." Drag items to reorder them or move them between Rail, More and Hidden. Reset to default undoes everything.
Your layout is stored in the browser you set it in, so it does not follow you to another computer β you would set it up again there.
Search anything with βK
Press βK (Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere to open search. The placeholder reads "Search projects, clients, tasksβ¦", and it covers projects, deliverables, clients, contacts, tasks and knowledge-base docs across your workspace. Filter the results with the chips: All, Projects, Deliverables, Clients, Contacts, Tasks, Docs. Pinned and recent items show before you type anything.
One exception: on the Planner, βK opens the planner's own search instead.
The assistant
Assistant sits in the rail as its own destination. On every other page there is a floating launcher β Open Assistant β that opens it in a panel, so you can ask a question without losing your place. Opening a project automatically gives the assistant that project's context.
Notifications and chat
New notifications appear in the header bell the moment they arrive. Chat is a beta feature: if your workspace has it enabled you get a Chat rail item with company channels and direct messages; if not, the item simply is not there.
Getting help
- Help & Support in the account menu opens the support messenger.
- Give feedback opens the public feedback portal, signed in with one click.
- What's new at the bottom of the rail lists recent releases.
Note that the Knowledge Base in the rail is your own team wiki β pages you write for your colleagues β not this help centre.
Switching workspace or language
If you belong to more than one workspace, switch from the account menu. Your language is set under Settings β Profile and applies to the whole app, including notification emails.
