Tasks in the sidebar has two pages: My tasks β everything assigned to you β and All tasks β everything in the workspace. Tasks you created but assigned to someone else live in their My tasks, not yours. Limited members only ever see tasks they created or are assigned to.
Working the list
Switch between a List and a Board layout. The list shows Task, Project, Status, Priority, Assignee, Creator and Due β and everything except Creator is editable inline, straight from the row. Drag the grip handle to reorder; the order is shared with the workspace.
The quick-add row at the bottom (Add taskβ¦) takes a task name and an optional project; Enter saves and keeps the row open, so you can capture a whole meeting's worth of tasks without touching the mouse. On My tasks, quick-added tasks are assigned to you automatically.
For more detail, New task opens a panel with title, description, project, assignee, priority and due date. Statuses are To do, In progress and Done; priorities run Urgent, High, Medium, Low, No priority.
Due dates colour themselves: a past date turns red with an Overdue prefix, today turns amber with Today.
Tasks and projects belong together
A task linked to a project shows up in three places at once: the Tasks page, the project's own Tasks tab, and the client's Tasks tab. The Project column links straight to the project in a new tab. Assign a task inside a project and the assignee finds it waiting in their My tasks β with the backlink to the project right there.
Filters you can save
Filter by Status (including an Active shortcut for everything not done), Assignee, Priority, Project and Due (Overdue, Today, This week, No date). A filter combination you use often β say, my overdue high-priority tasks β can be saved under My filters and re-applied in one click.
Notifications
Assigning a task to someone notifies them in-app, and a daily digest mails everyone their overdue tasks in the morning. Deleting a task is reserved for its creator, admins and managers.
