Track your time with the timer
Start a timer scoped to a project and task type, or to an internal category — and log time after the fact when you forget.

A floating pill sits in the corner of the app. Click Start timer to open the time tracker.
Two kinds of time
The tracker has two tabs:
- Project — billable work on a client project.
- Internal — everything else: acquisition, admin, management.
Starting project time
- Pick a client — the picker starts from your clients, not a flat project list.
- Pick one of that client's projects.
- Pick a task type (the picker is searchable — Main edit, Color grading, Shoot prep and so on).
- Optionally note what you are doing in "What did you work on?".
- Click Start timer.
Starting internal time
Pick a category, add a note, and start. Same flow, no project.
While it runs
The pill shows what you are tracking. Open it to see Currently tracking with a Billable chip where relevant, and Stop timer to finish. While a timer is running you can also Switch project or Switch category without stopping first.
Each new entry starts fresh — the description and task type are not pre-filled from your last matching entry, so you never accidentally inherit yesterday's label.
Focus mode
Focus mode (Pomodoro) is an optional beta feature. An admin switches it on under Settings → Beta features; until then you will not see it in the tracker.
With it on, the timer auto-stops after a set interval, then chimes and notifies you. Choose a Session length of 25, 50 or 90 minutes; when it fires you get a Time for a break dialog with Resume tracking for when you are ready.
Logging time you forgot to track
Use Log time on the Timesheet page. Pick the date, the duration, and either a project (with client and task type) or an internal category, add notes and submit.
If your workspace has set a maximum per entry, the field says so — for example "Time (max 3 hours per entry)".
How tracked time is billed
Tracked time is rounded up to the nearest 5-minute block once per project per day, not per session. Six separate 6-minute sessions on the same project in one day do not cost a full hour, and a quick follow-up burst adds nothing until it crosses the next block.
Where it ends up
Logged time flows into your Timesheet, the Insights view, and each project's labour cost and margin. Deliverables also compare logged hours against their estimate.
