What the AI assistant can do
The assistant reads and changes your workspace — projects, tasks, shot lists, call sheets, casting and more.

The assistant sits in the sidebar as Assistant, and on every other page a floating launcher opens it in a slide-over panel so you can ask something without losing your place. Opening a project automatically gives it that project's context.
What it can do
Projects — create, update and archive projects and their deliverables; look up clients, timesheets, phases, due dates and statuses. Paste a brief and it proposes a structured project — title, description, due date and deliverables with formats and deadlines — then creates everything on your confirmation. It can also move projects between phases and change status.
Tasks — list and filter by status, priority, assignee, project, client or due date; create new ones; update and complete existing ones. Deleting tasks is not available — do that on the Tasks page.
Shot lists and locations — break scenes into shots, tick them off on set, and create or update locations with their addresses, contacts and permit status. It can set which location a scene shoots at.
Call sheets — draft one from the project's scenes, shots and locations, proposing shoot days and a run of show for you to confirm.
Shoot Canvas — read a project's visual board and add, edit or remove note, image and link tiles on it.
Casting — manage the workspace casting board, put people on a project, shortlist candidates against the brief, and save a photo you drop into the chat straight to someone's profile.
Knowledge Base — search and read articles, including inside their content, not just titles.
Creators — search video editors, freelancers and creator profiles across the platform.
Documents — attach a file you sent in the chat to a project's Documents tab. Say "save this invoice to the Acme project" and it files it.
What managers and admins get extra
Some capabilities are gated by role — for members they are simply absent:
Managers and above — meeting recordings and transcripts, bookings, sales leads (including moving a lead through the pipeline), and hiring positions and applications.
Admins only — creating, updating and deleting Knowledge Base pages, and reading the AI credit balance and transactions. Searching and reading the Knowledge Base is open to everyone.
Everything is scoped by your own permissions. The assistant cannot show you anything you could not open yourself — a freelancer asking about tasks sees only their own.
Pointing it at something
Type @ in the chat to mention any project or client, or use the Mention a project or client button. Opening a project page does this for you automatically.
Attachments and voice
The paperclip attaches images and PDFs (up to 20MB) for the assistant to read and reason over.
The microphone starts hands-free voice — your speech is transcribed into the input box for you to review before sending. The button only appears in browsers that support it.
Managing conversations
Every conversation is saved automatically. Start a fresh one with New conversation; to get back to an earlier one, click the clock icon in the top-right of the assistant — it opens Recent sessions, a list of the most recent conversations with a search box that filters them by title. Selecting one reopens it so you can continue where you left off.
On the full-page assistant, open conversations sit in tabs across the top. Double-click a tab's title to rename it — a good name is what makes a conversation easy to find back later.
Your conversations are private. Recent sessions shows only the conversations you started — teammates and admins cannot read them.
It runs on credits
Every workspace can use the assistant, governed only by its AI credit balance. See AI credits and topping up.
