Share a project with clients and freelancers
View links, edit links and email invitations bring outside people into one project — no seat required.

Not everyone who touches a project needs a seat in your workspace. The Share button in the project header covers the outsiders: a client who wants to follow along, a freelance editor doing one job.
Links: instant, no account
The Links section of the share dialog has two switches:
- View link — "Anyone with link can view project (read-only)". The visitor sees the project title, status and due date, the deliverables, the project info and documents, plus the cloud and review buttons if links are set.
- Edit link — "Anyone with link can change video statuses". Same page, but the deliverables board becomes draggable: your freelancer can move cards between status columns as they finish work. Nothing else opens up.
Copy a link and send it — the visitor needs no account and no login. Two things to know:
- The links have no password and no expiry. Anyone holding the URL can open it, so treat it like a key.
- You stay in control: switch a link off any time, or regenerate the edit link — the old URL stops working on the spot.
Invite by email
In the People section, type a name or email address. Teammates and past collaborators appear as you type; a full email address of someone new offers Invite — an email invitation to collaborate on this project, valid for 7 days. They sign up, land on the project, and get the permission you chose: Can view or Can edit.
Invited people are listed with a Pending badge until they accept, and you can cancel an invitation from the same list. Admins see every external collaborator across all projects under Settings → Members, in the External access section.
Link, invite, or a seat?
- One-off viewer or editor — a view or edit link. Zero setup, free.
- A collaborator on this one project who should appear by name — an email invitation.
- Someone who works with you often, across projects — give them a Limited seat instead: they get their own dashboard with exactly the projects assigned to them. See Invite your team and pick the right role.
