Frame.io review links

You attach Frame.io to your work by pasting a review link onto the project or deliverable. There is no account connection to set up.

Adding a review link

When you move a project into review, the status panel asks for the link:

1. Open the project and choose Move to review in the status panel.

2. Paste your Frame.io URL into Review Link (Frame.io URL). It looks like https://app.frame.io/…

You can also add or change the link from the project header with Add Review Link, and jump to it later with Open Review. Individual deliverables can carry their own review link too, with Open Frame.io on the card.

Approving

Once the client has reviewed, use Approve project. You will be asked to confirm — approving marks the work as approved and ready for completion. If changes are needed instead, use Move back to review or set the deliverable to Changes requested.

There is no Frame.io account to connect

Review links are the entire integration. Settings → Integrations has no Frame.io card, and there is nothing to authorise or sign in to.

The upside of pasting a plain URL is that it has no requirements at all: it works with any Frame.io account on any Frame.io plan, and equally well with any other review platform you prefer.

Other cloud links

If you are sending footage rather than a cut, use Add cloud link instead. It accepts any share URL — Dropbox, Google Drive and so on — and is what a quote request uses to look at your source material.
